Just received 9 concrete repair spurs.

I ordered 100x100x1200mm as you can see from the attached, the width of the spurs is more like 85mm wide. not 100mm.

So the actual size is 85x100x1200mm

The supplier just admitted they don't stock 100x100x1200mm currently, despite me ordering online.

Would this work on a 100X100 post (Fence height is 180cm).

Yes they will be fine.
As Bobby says, centralise them with your existing post and they will do the job.

Thanks, Bobby & Conny

So that I understand this...

I first assumed that these spurs were actually for 75mm X 75mm posts.

Then I see other suppliers like Wikes offering 75mm X 100mm spurs as standard which am assuming people just pick up and use on all fence post sizes.

Am guessing I couldn't have gone down to the much smaller 75mm X 75mm spurs as these would be too insubstantial.

And that the 100mm X 100mm spurs are used as they (arguably) look better on the 10cm X 10cm posts? Or maybe for supporting gate posts.

I suppose what I'm asking is where would you use the different spur sizes?

It depends more on the potential loading on the posts, from wind etc, than the dimensions of the post.
On a 1.2 meter post you would get away with a 75mm by 75mm spur.
The larger ones would be better for longer, higher posts and fences.
But now that you have the 85mm X 100mm spurs, just crack on with them.

The spurs and the posts do not need to match in dimensions. That's just aesthetics.
