Sainsburys

you mean no black man before has ever been good enough?

I don't know John but everyone needs to be judged on what they produce and their talent rather than their colour. In this day and age this should never happen. Sad world and our aim should be to make it equal. but Equal means equal....

When you see "the first black man to play for England" or "the first woman to win a Nobel prize for..." it doesn't usually mean the first one good enough.

It usually means the first time the all-male, white, selection clique has given way and allowed someone outside their own group to win.

Who discovered Pulsars?

The BBC are the most guilty of being sexist and Racist, Now they are apologising for all of us and making up for their past ilks. Shame on them! My guess is they are still amongst the worst racists out there.

Trevor McDonald was on ITV, that just shows how racist BBC was.

What about Moira Stuart. Both Trevor and Moira where and are great presenters. Both got on so well because their great grasp of the English Language. Both would not have got to where they are now if they put on this crap Jafaican accents these days.

To be fair The BBC did employ Trevor from 1969

went In Sainsbury tonight. i see nothing. Certainly not in ya face.

It's just transam having his usual dig at foreigners or people of colour. It helps rouse the Daily Wail readers after a long night snoring before emptying their colostomy bags.

Your fantasies get stranger by the day. I wonder if your bitterness is the cause?

Hmm. Slippery slope.

And when's white history month? But then we have such an illustrious and enviable history that we don't need to shout about it.
Always the thing isn't it? Whiny about 'what about the whites'?! Taking nothing on board or in context as to why this is happening.

As an aside, do you ever remember being at school? White history is nearly all they teach, at least until recently but most certainly when you were at school. So is 12 months of white history not enough for you?

How strange, people so perturbed by this.

That's because there is nothing to see. Just hyped up by people that don't actually understand what they actually did. It's just about them being open about their company policy. They are not doing anything different from many other companies in the UK today, they just chose to state it on their website. There has been a long culture in businesses in the UK (and many other countries!) of ignoring racism in the workplace. Black people have been sidelined, paid less, given worse jobs, and when they have been the victim of racism, have been ignored and had their complaints disregarded. Sainsburys, like many other companies, are just saying, we are equal, and if you experience racism, there is support and we will not tolerate it.

Not really so bad, is it? I don't think it will affect your shopping experience in any way!

Tis all. Very well pontificating to. Every one about there values

Than have racist share holders who own 22 % of the company

So the shareholders are also the CEO and managers? If they have managerial control over the company, then they are not very racist.
If they don't then it's irrelevant. Hard to stop people investing in companies. Unless you support communism, of course. Are you a commie?
