I finally got round to emptying and demolishing an old shed. I now need to dispose of 16 tins of old paint, varnish, creosote etc. (I also have some rat poison and slug pellets bought over 20 years ago which I would never buy nowadays.) How would it be best to get rid of this toxic mix?
Presumably professional decorators must come across this problem quite often so I'd welcome some advice.

My local tip accepts it for specialist disposal. Ask yours

Bag of cheapo cat litter mix with paint. Buy 6 wooden spoons from pound shop and will fit a drill to mix or just use by hand.

Local tip will have bin for it with or without mixing cat litter in but transport without the litter can be a worry if you spill
