Hello , I have the above boiler, just recently the shower would be hot then the water would go cold after 3-4 mins the hot water would come back on.
We live in a hard water area, would a descale of the boiler help or is it a valve ? somewhere getting stuck ?

The burner does stay on when the hot water goes cold.

well the heat has to go somewhere, turn the CH off and run a hot tap or the shower and feel the CH pipes below the boiler , they will be 22mm ones are either of them getting hot ? if so you have a diverter valve problem

Hi Ian,

Yes one of the 22mm central heating pipes is hot. Is it straight forward to change the diverter valve , I assume its the diaphram that needs replacing ?

Is there a " How to guide " on this forum for changing a diverter valve ?

probably just the diaphragm very easy to change and only a few quid to buy
