Hi all, I’m looking to replace the UPVC window hinges in my flat, but am not sure as to exactly which ones I need to buy as the current ones are about 20 years old. Any advice on how I can figure it out? I've included an image. The existing hinge is 41cm long and 1.9cm wide.

Thank you!!

You need a 400mm egress or easy clean hinge, stack height can be difficult to measure and could be 13nm or 17mm

Thanks @crank39.

I found the two hinges below on Screwfix, and they seem to match the dimensions of the current ones (414mm long 19mm wide), and the stack height is 13 and 17mm. Does that mean they can be adjusted for either of the two stack heights? Only problem is that they don't seem to have the "press" button that is on the current hinge which restricts the amount you can open it.

Also, one of them is "top hung", which I assume is the hinge for the top of the window, but the other is "side hung". Is that the hinge that would go at the bottom of the window?

The red line indicates where the hinges go on a top hung or side hung window. The ones that you show from screw fix are pairs of left and right for the top hung ones, or top and bottom for the side hung ones.

Edit to add that they come with 4mm packers to adjust between 13mm and 17mm stack heights.

But... The Screw fix hinges are not Egress/Fire Escape hinges. They don't open to 90 degrees and that's why they don't have the "Press" button.
