unfortunately brick wall leading to exterior
If a hole can be made in the plasterboard somewhere near the centre of the 'chimney' extractor (where it will get covered) and in-line with the top of the wall cupboards, you could poke a straightened out wire coat hanger to see if there is a clear path to the top of the righthand cupboard.
Getting the power from the socket in the top of the oven housing seems the easiest.
You say the cooker hood is on an outside brick wall?
It is likely the next electrician will fish the new cable in the brick cavity to avoid any damage to the kitchen wall.

will either be the sparky that i find or will just post up the job locally on trade/fb website. I have an sds which will be able to do the job but just dont have the core drilling bit, but even if i did i dont think i'd attempt it anyways as it seems very laborous to get through at least 2 layers of brick and then whatevers inbetween.
Should be ok then.

we agreed on the price of the work that needed doing, which obviously included the much needed wiring for the extractor fan. he said it was an oversight on his end. ok cool, i asked to ensure that it is done and even though it would take longer now for that part of the kitchen its all good, all human, mistakes made etc
He asked if he could just knock £20 off the bill instead, and I said no, can he just do/complete what we actually agreed upon. said it was too much hassle and I said im not taking £20 off when clearly its going to take someone abit of time to sort it back out for what it should be. He walked off and havent heard from him since. gave him a few days and texted to say that if he doesnt sort out then i will have to find someone else to do it and whatever they charge will have to be taken off the total that I am due to give him. which i think is only fair tbh. He's read it (whatsapp) and not bothered to reply
I think a polite negative review on SM is the next step …
