Hi all

I have a concrete pathway that leads to my front door. With a step by the door. Can I/should I lay a paved path on top? How do I go about the step? Or would it be better to remove the old concrete and relay an entire new path?

How were you going to stick/bed stabs on concrete?

I guess you could slurry the slabs and concrete path with a 25mm sand and cement bed, but that will be 60mm higher than current path.

Depends on the levels .
Will the new slabs meet the house ?
Will it be below dpc?
How deep is the step ?
Far too little information.
How about a photo?
