How will the upcoming attack on Iran go.

Refining uranium is not the final stage, enrichment is the final stage for nuclear weapons.

Doubt if that will happen
US troop will be on someone else’s turf. While they may have terrain maps and all that, Iranian militia will be on home turf and they will outnumber the US troops.

One of the channels compared US in Vietnam where they had much much larger force but still came away defeated.

I could be wrong, very wrong but think Trump is going to get his forces killed.

I'm glad you agree with me now. They probably do want the bomb but they aren't working on building any. Intent was a poor choice of words for you to make.

Take it up with the CIA if you don't like the IAEAs word, they don't think that Iran is working on building a nuclear bomb.

They'll land troops, seize the high ground, take light losses due to middle and drone strikes, win virtually every engagement and lose a few people at a time while the straights remain closed.

Then we're in a weird place where either the IRGC or Trump has to blink, or one of the two regimes falls.

Not really, Trump managed to pull off a magnificent amazing diplomatic victory and then threw it away.

He could have pushed the time needed to make a bomb back to close to a decade, right now we're still at around 1 year or less, except now Iran is being run by an even more hardline military junta.

This **** storm has only made things worse.

The only possible justificatlon for ground troops, apart from protecting the hormuzz straits, is to identify and degrade the main nuclear sites.

Good job he didn't listen to people like you who were saying just five minutes ago that Iran was nowhere near capable of making 'the bomb', even if they wanted too.

No, they were a year away from having one if they started working on it. They've been at that point for around a decade But they weren't working on it. That gap was almost a decade if they gave up their stockpile.

And yes, praising Trump did hurt. Sadly for the world he then reverted to form and messed It up again.

It would be small pockets of special forces that would make more sense to hit strategic targets and gather intelligence. /he will not want to commit to 100 thousand troops and a 20 year war with Iran. He is losing enough face as it is.
