The only thing that's stopped Iran from having a nuke is the fact that Iranian nuclear scientists tend to have a short lifespan.

That video is shocking if it is true, I suspect that this is not him talking over this Iran campaign as they were all stood in MAGA hats, so suspect these are clips from his campaign pieced together. If he is talking like this about Iran, he needs removing before he gets any more of his troops killed.
 
Trumpf would be mad to deploy troops on Irannian soil. In an asymmetrical war Irann won’t just meet troops with troops, they will bomb the desalination plants of Arab countries.

Where would you put these troops and how would you protect them from drones, missiles, and home militia ( that will be attacking the troops from all sides on home territory)?
What would the landed troops being doing to keep the narrow channel open
How would these troops be fed, armed and housed in contested and exposed position.. remember the drones and missiles have considerable range and troops will be sitting ducks

Above is not a trick question, but food for thought.

I imagine they would be deploying to Hormuzz which is a mountainous area and be re supplied and defended mainly by air. I can’t see him going inland but it might be part of his non strategy. Maybe he thinks the Irannian leadership are as dumb as his MAGAs back home.

Absolutely, Iran has a massive drone capability that can be flown from anywhere, inmpossible to locate in such a vast area, the ground troops would indeed be sitting ducks. Lots of body bags will be required. Only ground troops that could go near landing to gather intel and do some hit and run missions would be small units of special forces. Even then where is the gain?

Now consider this. The Chinese and Russian are supplying targeting info to Iranians ( hence key sites belonging to Isreal and USA have been taken out by missiles that are too fast to be intercepted
Two aircraft carriers that can provide air cover and are out of harms way and defended by multiple ships- fighter jets fast as they are, will be flying for a while before they provide protection to troops that have landed.
There is talk of putting a carrier with VTOL fighter and apache copter closer in but that has not happed as yet ( lone ship perhaps?)

Talk was dropping troops on Karg Island where the oil is processed, Although Israel are up to something in the North East (Mashad - 2nd largest city) with dramatically increased airstrikes. Either cutting off the escape route to Afghanistan or preparing to open a front?

Who knows?

Saudi and UAE are putting pressure on Trump to see the job through to the end.

SA has frequently expressed a wish for the head to be cut off the snake but might change its tune if their desalination plants are targetted.
