Falklands

They are all Suffolk so British.

I feel it is wrong to talk about Falklands and Hong Kong unless you have been there. I have worked in both, and there is no comparison.

As to Gibraltar, never been there, so no comment. But the Falklands is British no argument.
I have been to all of them and the absolute crap being posted on here is mind boggling. The Falklanders want to be left alone to their chosen way of life. Politicians of all countries would do well to remember that.

I would be gob smacked if any vote in the UK was as a result of a president in the USA. Moscow maybe but not the USA. What absolute tosh.

Let's not reopen the Brexit debate. More than 1.5 million more people voted to leave the EU and align with the US than voted to continue to shackle our country to the failing states to the east of us.

1.5 million. To put that in context, you are looking at bias towards leave that was about the same as the entire populations of Leeds, Sheffield and Wakefield *combined*. To argue that is not an overwhelming win for leave is to simply to be in denial.

A simple majority requires just over 50% (\(>50\%\)) of votes cast to pass, whereas an overwhelming majority implies a much higher, near-unanimous percentage (often interpreted as 75% or higher)
Evidently, to argue that 2% is overwhelming is at best a misunderstanding, at worst a complete misrepresentation of history.

Well they were Suffolk, but not sure if they can be still classed as a Suffolk, ranching the sheep has resulted in a much hardier breed, with a better staple.

What was funny was working in Suffolk the amount of comments about my being Welsh and sheep, the reply was easy, no sheep called Welsh, there are sheep called Suffolks, and they would say what about a Welsh black, one has to wonder when they can't tell the difference between a cattle and sheep!

And yes Russia did cause problems. They were buying sheep they did not need, to support some countries. And when they become more capitalist, this stopped, and the bottom fell out of the globule wool market. Fees for fishing in Falklands waters saved the Falklands.

But you just did

And could you show us the bit on the referendum ballot paper that said the UK was to 'align with the US'?

And what are 'failing states to the east of us'?

In 2016 the British people voted overwhelmingly to sever ties with Europe and form a much closer bond with the American administration.

That is not true.

Obviously you are wrong about the wording of the referendum.

Is it a mistake founded in ignorance?

Or a deliberate attempt to mislead?
