As usual, if someone makes a claim that something is so it is their responsibility to produce evidence to prove its veracity, not the responsibility of others to provide evidence that it is a false claim.

I think this is a post covid backlog phenomenon that allowed unscrupulous ADI's to block book tests. The idea, is that genuine driving instructors could offer intense tuition packages culminating in a driving test, that had all been pre-paid. Unfortunately a few spot the opportunity for a tout market and spoil it for others.

I think it means they will only pay once. If the fail the first test, then hey wont get help for the 2nd test.

It beggars belief:
Ivor claims that UK government is paying for foreigners to have driving lessons and to take their test.
When asked for evidence, he presents the government advice that visitors to UK can use their home licence for 12 months to drive in UK.
Which is similar to situations around the world.
I, personally, have driven in UK, most European countries, some South Asian countries and Antipodean countries, on my UK driving licence, in some cases in conjunction with my International Driving Permit.

His ludicrous mentality thinks that visitors can use their home licence, and they must have driving lessons and take a test, which is paid for by the government.
In his puerile mind the government is a charity based solely in Hertfordshire.
It illustrates his ability to comprehend the world around him.
