I'm halfway through having my home repointed but not happy with the outcome so far and don't want to continue on the front of the house of it's a bad job, would you consider this good workmanship? Thanks in advance

Could be neater but I've seen a lot worse.
Real question is: did they remove old mortar to 20-25mm depth?

Unfortunately I don't have any idea how deep they went. Thanks for your reply. I still need the front of the house doing so trying to figure if best to ask them to try do it neater or rather I'm not so happy with the finish let's leave the front

You're not going to get crisp lines with old brickwork full of chips and undulations, he can obviously point, some sections are fine, but some areas could have had a scrape and brush and a touch up for a better finish, and to be fair close up photo's will make it look worse.
