Metal Back Box Clips

Tut tut, you’re being a bit triggerbaity there SUNRAY, taking a shot before the wires were fully seated and leaving the impression the YouTuber left the cores exposed. Seek to a few frames later.

I do think they Could have made a better job of getting the outer sheath into the cable clamp with some more accurate core shaping and trimming though; it’s just on the edge and if the earth were shorter and the L/N a bit more 90’d it would have come through

The brackets do work... BUT constant un/plugging will wear the PB around the screws and eventually be very loose, particularly on double sockets where it's rotational force rather than simple in/out.

This time I agree with your verdict.

£1.50 at tlc £2.50 at cef so not too bad if they work
@SUNRAY
I did check posts first, but not the video, I see them in cef today for the first time
The concept is not new, historically done with bit of wood or metal partition studs etc, but the problem has always been the screws 'wearing' the PB and becoming loose, especially when they are driven in as far as shown in your linked video

I did think that too, but i guess it will all tighten up more when the plaster boards sandwiched between the socket front and the bracket..
On there site there is results from their push and pull tests on single and double board..

My own limited experience of a single bracket of that shape was in an office situation and we found many of the sockets were loose during an inspection following one socket coming out of the partition - I assume the brackets were formed from partition studding which was very probably thinner than these and far too flimsy - for a double socket & backbox meant the back box was able to rock - which I assume was mostly during withdrawing the plug.
