Name the dog after her, keep life simple.

I had a friend whose dog and girlfriend had the same name. The dog did pre-date the girlfriend though.

Before deciding on a name, why not wait until you have the dog and post a picture. It might have a feature that might lend itself to a suitable name. Something like a spot, or a patch, big nuts, in which case you could call it Billy, (big baws).

I have literally just been on this site looking, also I have been watching this about kibble. Some really high quality premium kibble and some rubbish ones.

A lot of owners say kibble is bad for their teeth but they need some variety.

Happened to my friend years ago.
His dog was called Sheila and he got together with his girlfriend, also Sheila.
I would not resist calling the dog and when girlfriend answers..."No, not you, the other bitch!"...

Who says that? they make great pets and as far as cheap, £300 to adopt one plus their insurance is £150 per month, not a cheap lousy pet.

Personally I don't consider cost as any factor in selecting a pet. My greyhound will be the best greyhound in the world and probably worh in excess of 20k maybe more. The whole concept of adopting a greyhound for me and many others who own them is the fact that they have mostly lived a very horrible life and have never known affection and love. Adopting a greyhound by a loving and responsible owner gives a life to a dog that it has never known and that to me is priceless.
