Hi there

Looking to put a garage side door on My external garage .

Edinburgh prices astronomical so going diy

I want to cut as little as possible ,

Suspect I'll need across? Or is that overkill ?

Currently shopping for lintels , doors . Ant advice appreciated

If your going between the piers then a bit of 2x4 screwed into the blocks above the door opening will keep the block work in place while you sort the lintel out.

Can't comment on the outer leaf as we can't see it.
