Volkera Excell 80SP hot water probs.

Hello

In one go, I get 2 min of hot water before it goes cold and will not give out how water again for about 5 min. Good for washing up and er the washing machine only.

I've run some cleaning solution though it twice and the water seems clear enough. The heating works fine.

Cold baths are not too bad at this time of year.

Any ideas???

Needs a service kit. To be fair not every company will carry out the service as per the book and will only hoover out the CC and check pressures etc, without replacing HW diaphrams and cleaning venturi, as should be done.

Hot water diapramn, the divertor bobin or the HW micro switch are the likely culprits.

This was last serviced in November last year, so you would think they would clean the fan out as part of that that blows the hot air onto the pipe???

They came back and cleaned it out, and all is now well.

I was looking into this this much too deeply.
