  • Hi I have a vailiant 837 eco tech pro and tried to fit a hive but the boiler won't fire up. Any ideas please
Hi I noticed your post regarding hive and connecting to Vaillant ecotec plus 837 can you help me by telling me where the wires go in the new model, the old model u used 3 &4 on the block but the new model has different descriptions ? It has things like burner and RT
Thanks for the info, It has to be an ACL 3wire actuator to fit onto the divertor valve. Stopped leaking this morning (how weird is that). I wonder if instead of buying the whole assembly the problem is just with the seal on the actuator (i presume the seal is on the acuator and not on the valve?). And if we cannot buy the origional part is there one that we can use?
Hi, I'm thinking of fitting a VR10 into a megaflo but Megaflo tell me I must leave the overheat and adjustable stats in place and wired in to trip the HW 2 port. is there enough room in the dry pocket to add the VR10 to the correct depth?

I wanted to ask you about something but could not find your mobile number. Mine is 07956 440480 Tony
    Hi,
I up until recently lived in Crystal Palace renting, but I have managed to get on the property ladder and now live in New Addington, Croydon.
I have tried employing people in the past but have found its not for me.
I do gas boiler replacements, conversions depending how large they are, fault finding, and most of the small work like plumbing jobs, gas certs, etc.

My van is not sign written anymore as I found it seems to attract the type of cutomers I am not looking for.
I did enquire a while ago if you were looking to employ anyone as I have a friend named Daniel who works for Elite Heating Services in CR0, been there for about 6 years. We served our C&G together at Croydon College. He is a purely installation guy but his work is to a high standard. Speaking of which he is now talking of the possibility of going it alone this year.
ps, my middle name is Lawrance
Hi, I passed your details onto a chap in Kenley who is looking to upgrade to a megaflo and system boiler.
Have actually passed your details on a few times in the past as I work alone so I dont take on large jobs.
    Hi Simon,
First time user and dont know how site works. I've e-mailed you a question directly.
Should I start a thread ? Thanking you in advance.
Sorry didnt thank you in the e-mail
Hi, do you have any installer vacancies as I have a friend who is looking to move on from his current employer. His work is to a high standard. He lives in the Croydon area. He has had his acs for about 6 years.
Hi simon, just thought i'd let you know that the gas safe register doesn't show you with any gas qualifications. might be worth having a word to sort it out .......and yes... I'm a nosey little ****er ;)
    Hi Simon

Just tried to message you but can't.

You probably know this by nw, but the problem with the F91 on the 937 is the non-return valve on the shift load pump. The whole lot needs changing. Bit of a bas***d to do I'm told.

    Regards
    Thanks Simon.

I don't think I knew about this fault. I have heard however that they have had problems with that actual pump assembly, not the head, but the body it is mounted on. Engineers have been replacing the pump head to no avail, but it is the back assembly that has proved faulty.

Can't remember what F code this gives though.

I will try to contact my mate, the 'proper' Vaillant engineer, to ask if he has an answer for this.

I'm a bit new to this new feature here and didn't realise it existed!

    Regards

    Dave
