    Hi Kevin.

Fluffs heating system is all 8mm. Downstaris off 22 upstairs off 15mm flow and return. Tony's bucket tesy was useless in finding the fault. His suggestion that system needed to be modulated to 11kwatt was drivel- boiler was running at 2.5bar having done its work. There was no blockage on flow and return. HW was as expected- poor but what a combi can deliver good flow of water.

Problem was the outlet of the diverter was blocked like feed pipe does on an open vented heating system. Have had that on a few boilers so I cannot claim to be brilliant just lucky that I have been there and done it and got the tee shirt. Keep above under your hat. Can see our Tony coming away with some smart remarks

Hello, Kev - thanks very much for responding! I have now had it looked at, it turns out it was the electrical supply to the pilot light which needed replacing. It cost £75, could have been worse,I suppose! Incidentally, apologies for being personal, but my birthdate is 22nd October,Libra like you. I completely agree with about 'Thatchers' Britain!' kind regards, Polly. [email protected]
Wow, you are in America! Thought it was one of those jokey bits like "Antarctica" or " Uzbekistan" locations!
Kev has drastically reduced the carbon footprint and distribution costs of several US distilleries by moving closer to them. LOLOLOL Nice one!
Kev, You seem more clued up than most on the forum, so how about a look at my "dunsley neutralizer" in combustion chamber, some advice would be appriciated Thanks in advance martin
