    Have done similar to that,I have done similar to the above.have used duct tape for corrosion protection. Though one downstairs rad is on a studwall I have dropped in 15mm and reduced to 10mm on the elbow as it exits the stud wall. Have done this to give the pipes more stability. Should this be ok?

    Thank was just worried the inside of.the pipe may look like the outside.with the snots thus effecting flow

    Just snotted down the pipe . I use a flux brush so try clean it off it runs down the pipe. Can solder run like it does down the outside of the pipe on the inside?

    Though unsightly do solder runs/ snots on pipes have any impact? I try and solder quiet neat both on show and on unseen pipe work. My colleague doesnt solder neat on pipework under floors etc and leaves snots

    Sorry I mean bringing the pipes up through the floor so the fall just behind the pedestal. I am guessing about 5/6 inch but as yet we have no spec for the basin just that it will be a pedestal basin.

    Sorry just a standard house with a combi boiler. The house has a bathroom and small ensuite. Is a 15mm cold supply enough for this. The incoming supply is 25mm mdpe. Do you need to know pressure etc?

    Thanks I realize the combi may struggle but were I work always fit combis is a price thing I think. Will be a 30kw combi though. Was just worried the one 15mm run feed a shower and bath in separate bathroom maybe an issue? But the whole house is pipes in 15mm. So can't see how teeing of the main...

    when first fixing a house off a combi. And the hot and cold pipes are 15mm through out. Is it ok to tee off the main run of hot and cold pipes once to put up 2 bathroom on with a bath and one with a shower. The only other supply's required are to a cloak room basin and toilet. Am I right in...
