there only seems to be light dust on the ply, you can see the grain in it, the hole you mentioned was caused by a screw which had gone too deeply into the ply.
thanks for the reply, there doesn't seen to be any screed left on the ply, it seems to be well stuck to the tile. if i used a PVA or SBR in a 3in1 mix to seal the screed on bottom of the tile would i then be able to stick it back down ? and if you were in my shoes which adhesive would you use...

Yes the boiler is heating the hot water cylinder up, the only rising vent pipe i can see is the open vent pipe over the F&E tank. also the bathroom radiator heats up, its just the radiators in the bedrooms that don't, ? any ideals what to try to resolve his , many thanks

i got to take up a vinyl floor which has been glued on to a concrete floor, before tiling it. I have taken up a section finding it very hard to remove the glue before i start tiling, or is it ok to tile over the top, any ideals ??? many thanks
can any one tell me an easy way of cutting the edge tiles on a diagonal floor , was shown a way of doing this at college , where you place one tile over the top of another , and place a third tile next to the wall and and drawn a line over the 2nd tile . I can get it to work on striaght cuts but...
i have been working with 600*300, 10mm thick porcelain tiles ,i have been using a Rubi TR600S and i am getting chips by where the breakerhas touches the tile , has any one else come across this problem , and how did you over come this , many thanks

there a load of different makes of plastic pipe on the market , FloPlast , JG Speedfit , Polypipe , Hep20 , polybutylene ,but which is the best ??? i believe Hep20 give a 50 year guarantee ?
can someone tell me what is best for bedding in the wastes on baths , showers, sinks etc , in the past i've used both silcone and plumbers mate ? both seem to work fine , but recently changed a waste and was a little worried how easy it came out with the plumbers mate . cheers for any answers ?
