    Cheers guys, thought I replied to all help in the past, but my apologies if I missed someone... There is no kitchen fitted so no appliances that could leak, the water is always turned off by the stop cock in the kitchen, we are on a meter, I could monitor that over a week without using water...

    Hi, I got a couple of people who know what they are looking at, rather than builders and surveyors, and they all said the same thing..... Unless you can get ur fingers through the crack, don't worry, also the wall which recessed around my bay, as in the photo, was made of plaster board...

    Hi Guys, Just had a email back from the fireoutlet.co.uk, they state that the installers should have fitted a black fireproof cream. Is this normal or are they just trying a quick fix, i also think that if the cuts arent square and parallel, the cream will not look right thanks

    Gonna put a double gang switch box on that un finished nib by the door. Today after setting over night there does appear to have a slight wave in the wall but its gonna get covered by a kitchen so should be ok... Pretty pleased overall, need to D+D that other bit to form my right angle now and...
