Hi, set them all to bell and did a test and outputs 1,2 & 4 give a reading of 0.70v in the on or off state and o/p 3 gives 12.77v in the on or off state... I have tried the fire output on 1001 and it works as it should and as expected, do you think it could be a faulty RIO? Thanks, Josh

Hi, when the alarm is activated it says "fire! enter code" on the display and the voltage stays at 0.70v whether its in alarm or not Thank you for all your help - Josh

Hi socdesign, tried that but when I place a multimeter on the terminals (v- rio v+ AUX) I get a reading of 0.70v without a resistor, and 0.16v with, whether the panel is in a fire condition or not. The output is set to fire, positive, and Latching, Thanks - Josh

Hi thanks for the replies and sorry for the lateness on getting back to you, so by setting the rio output to fire, when the detector activates the sounder will activate but it has got to be below 400ma consumption per output or over all outputs? and EightyTwo, its a low profile sounder 9-28v...

Hi, I've recently bought a Siemens hipath 540 pbx with 4 optipoint 500 handsets, and was just wondering if anyone has had experience wiring and setting one up, as no installation guide was with it and I cant seem to find any online. Thanks for all your help in advance J
