Extractor ducting and fire building regs.

I think which ever way I look at this, it's going to look a bloody mess. I think installing a pipe and then increasing the box size is the only option. J

Extractor ducting and fire building regs.

I think your right, a fire collar looks like what I need. Something to close the whole up in the event of a fire. I'm guessing that any normal ducting like this http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/FD51900.html Has no fire protection? thanks in advance James

Extractor ducting and fire building regs.

Hello guys, I was going to drill a hole in the ceiling and use a 110mm white soil pipe hidden behind a RSJ box as a ducting from the hood extractor to then vent outside. I've suddenly realised that 110mm pipe isn't going to be fire proof and therefore not re-create the fireproof seal required...

Hello guys, Re-read through my post on Saturday morning. Please excuse my poor use of the English language. Anyhow, to the matter in hand. What I ended up doing for lining up the top of the hood with the top of the tiles, cutting a small corner of the chimney section so it sat over the...

    Boiler condenser waste

Okay, I see exactly what your saying. I didn't realize that the pipe carried anything other than water vapor, but considering it comes through the chamber it makes sense.

    Boiler condenser waste

I had the boiler installed before the kitchen was installed by a gas safe engineer. The boiler condenser pipe was run down to the floor and told to hook up to the waste once the kitchen was installed. The kitchen was fitted many months later. Is the condenser waste a gas safety aspect?

    Boiler condenser waste

Hello guys, Just to want to confirm I’ve got this right. I’ve drilled the whole through the wall and run the waste pipe for the kitchen sink, 40mm. I’ve put a T section on and added the boiler condenser pipe to it. 21.5mm up to 40mm waste. Is this set up okay? I’m wondering if, for some...
