Flush out the head of the shower. Crap normally builds up in here and blocks the jets so less water comes out.

That's why I suggested RS232 as most have a port somewhere that isn't being used and if not it's less than £10 to get a emulated port. It's also extremely easy to write in even the most basic of computer languages.

The software developer in me says write a piece of software that waits for the computer to signal it's shutting down. It can then fire out a command from the RS232 port to the second computer which then starts that one shutting down. Not sure how much experience you have in that area...

They normally do it....then do it again to get the shots so they can get the cameras in position. Especially for things like the races where you see cameras back from the road with the car driving past etc. A mate of mine knows the cameramen on the show and even does some himself.

There are plenty of ceiling mount PIRs used for lights. Just get one of those and connect it up accordingly.

There are normally PIR modules for whichever network you're planning on using (I'm looking at Idratek).
