    Does my van need adblue?

I just realised I've had my van for 7 years and never put any adblue in. Dunno if it needs it though? 2013 Peugeot Expert 2.0 litre. My mechanic added something for the dpfs in the exhaust about 3 years ago if that's connected.

Making a box for storing stuff in communal cupboard

I'd like to put a few things in my flat's communal electric and plumbing cupboard. I don't want them in my flat or garage. I was thinking empty consumer unit or boxed in thing screwed to floor or just a plastic box left in corner. People do leave odd things lying about and no one moves it...

Getting these rugs to stay down

I've got these rugs in my hallway but whenever I hoover they crumple up. I've tried these sticky things underneath but they don't seem to work or hold it down. Double sided tape all underneath ? Or take them off when hoovering and wack them outside?

    Wallrock dampstock

Anyone used this? Gonna try it on a seriously damp wall. What's the best way to prep the walls before applying the paste? Soapy water? Sugar soap then let it dry? Regarding applying the paste onto the walls, how long should I leave it on there before putting on wallrock lining paper? Is...

Tripping out consumer unit when plug oven in

Just a thought but when I put 100mm screws into wall for brackets (I know too long) but could I have drilled into something electrical or going to the plug? I guess I could plug it non elsewhere to check that theory?

Tripping out consumer unit when plug oven in

Sorry about delay getting back. Yes worked OK before. Other things work ok in the same socket and don't trip. Wonder if it's the kettle underneath putting steam into the underside of machine. So, best to just buy similar sized device to fit brackets?

Fixing to this high plasterboard wall

So the bottom unit has been there years before moving in. The top unit won't be resting on bottom one. I think this is a stud wall as I knocked both sides and seems hollow. If it was dob and dab, it wouldn't be hollow both sides, would it? Does dot and dab have batons the plasterboard is...

Fixing to this high plasterboard wall

The walls hollow so I guess plasterboard. Can't find studs with magnets or stud finder but kitchen units are going up on it. What fixings? Gonna be heavy. Do the hooks go onto these plates in picture? For loft can I cram down the insulation and cut osb to GP on top? What's all coveredTACH]

Buying the freehold on my block of flats

So it looks like there wasn't another buyer and we can now purchase it no matter how many participants we have. Think ten people have paid their £100. We've got until 6th Dec to see how many are interested. Some of the longer leaseholders aren't interested some are.

How to deal with wet plasterboard?

Well he's obviously thought of all this. Shall put the lining paper (foil backed on that corner where the damp is coming through),shall I bring it around the corner a bit too?
