Sorry didn't answer your question, no flap on keypad at all ADT alarm was put in existing equipment not by ADT !!! Usually I tell my alarm chap the problem he tells me what I must do to remedy the problem and I do it!

update BG came said was ok checked no probs think severn trent had been messing with water supply and pressure had blown temp gauge still not working but heating fine got somthing on the pressure gauge as started working slightly. thanks for all replies

i did buy some plastic draught excluder that was a little larger in profile, but for doors, quite rigid in construction think i got it from B&Q, didn't use it in the end as was too large for the gap has to be nailed to either the door or frame. also see below...
