Faraday cage …I’ve had summer houses with foil back plasterboard and the detector would only work if across from the patio windows …

Is kitchen extension new or newer than the main house ? Did they use foil backed plasterboard ?

Kitchen is showing 2 in that screen shot ….how far is kitchen from alarm panel ? Move kitchen pir near control panel see if the issue stops …if so it’s a wireless signal issue

Go for a new / old stock if you can as the keypad buttons are a common issue I normally take them out and clean with meths on a cotton bud

Follow the same numbers that are inprinted in the old handset … Blue …with white ………6 White with blue …………2 Orange with white ………1 White with orange ………4 Green with white…………5 White with green ………..3

Twin and earth to first smoke ….brown L blue N …..then 3 core and earth ( grey interlink ) brown L ….Black N They could have sleeved the black with some blue sleeving…pretty straight forward …

Replace battery ….99 times out of 100 it’s the battery …

It won’t work ….you need a buzzer version ….not electronic ringer …eg 3102 this is the dual version works with both …
