    Aqualisa pushfit shower wall outlet

I needed to change the out let position for a concealed shower from handheld coming out the bath to wall outlet. I managed to cause minimum damage and fit an aqualisa push fit shower wall outlet as per picture. It had a rubber o ring like a speedfit fitting but no grab ring or anything, so you...

    760 pivot shower door

I’m fully aware that Williams are a merchant. What I meant was it’s their brand. Advantage .... is williams home brand .... like centre brand is plumb centres home brand. It’s not an 800mm. It has 760mm on the box, with 20mm adjustment, but the frame at its smallest is 760mm. Think I need to...

    760 pivot shower door

They are the manufacture, it’s a williams advantage one. I’ve never known a door to adjust upwards..... what would be the point of a door adjusting up past the tray size??? But now it’s got me second guessing what I’ve brought before. A 760 door should fit a 760 tray - the 30mm lost under tiles...

    760 pivot shower door

I fitted a 760 shower tray that went under each side of the wall, leaving the opening for the door 725mm. I had a 760mm door that said it adjusted down to 724mm...... However the actual door and frame, with the channels tight was 760mm..... aonwould only be able to be adjusted wider. Shop...

Evening, I am a plumber, I’ve replaced a shower tray which requires a tile repair. Same tile not an issue but the tiles I’m trying to match appear to be 232mm wide x 331mm long? Can someone tell me if there was a common size tile around this size, about 20 years old ans where I could get some...

    Spray paint over old paint

I honestly couldn’t say. My mate come round and said he’d never seen it. It can only have been the paint, I never thinned and it required thinning..... dust maybe ..... or drying to quick creating some kind bubble. I’ve now skimmed over with easifill ....... even 120 grit on a power sander...

    Spray paint over old paint

Yes pin holes and tiny craters after a top coat had dried. Nothing to do with the mist coat on my opinion. No one has been able to give me an answer. It is indeed a baffling one. Was interested in a spray gun because I will forever do my own painting and the smooth finish is immense. I’m...

    Spray paint over old paint

There were no imperfections after the mist coat at all. The plasterer is also the best plasterer I know and being a plumber, I know a lot. So you would use 1 part paint 6 parts water? I’m pretty sure PVA is a big no no these days and very much old fashioned with old paint.
