Pass, told me it was Apoxi grout? the stuff they use on swimming pools etc. He just tiled directly onto the 22mm chipboard flooring, no ply or sealer was used by the looks of it.

By construction I take it you mean how the original was laid? when Ilifted it it was just two layers of tiles (to get correct height for drain I assume?) and tiled straight onto my 22mm flooring no ply etc.

Alright mate, if you have cleaned the venturis I would be looking at the flue and checking for blockages, also make sure the fan is running as it should as if its running slow the APS won't make. There is obviously no fault with the ignition sequence if it is firing up when you make the APS...
