Boiler/pump making stange noises??? Please help!!!

Yep thats your problem mate, pump is goosed which without it causes the water in the system not to circulate therefore leading to the boiler overheating and cutting out the pilot light (safety measure). Water coming out of the exp into the tank is caused by the water in the boiler overheating...

    Thorn Boiler m30/42B

There is a difference between him doing jobs on the side and someone not knowing what they are doing mate, yes they both still maybe illegal in the eyes of the HSE but only one of them is likely to end up with safety issues. Fitting Central Heating *now with plan*

I'm afraid I agree that unless you know what you are doing a complete install is a big task. I personally wouldn't touch a job to install a boiler on a system which has been fitted using limited knowledge and a bit help from the net. Far too many probs to be had, you would spend more time fixing...

    Wet room probs!!!

By construction I take it you mean how the original was laid? when Ilifted it it was just two layers of tiles (to get correct height for drain I assume?) and tiled straight onto my 22mm flooring no ply etc.

    Worcester 24i strange fault

Yeah you can measure the pressure across the APS, and see what you are getting. As I said before any probs with the flue/fan etc may cause insufficient pressure to make the switch.Hope you are CORGI reg? as there could be an obvious fault that only a trained eng would spot, there is also the...

    Worcester 24i strange fault

Alright mate, if you have cleaned the venturis I would be looking at the flue and checking for blockages, also make sure the fan is running as it should as if its running slow the APS won't make. There is obviously no fault with the ignition sequence if it is firing up when you make the APS...
