    Did you then set the smartcom into AP mode, connect to it's wifi directly using it's IP address of 192.168.2.1, and its pass phrase, then give it details of the new network you want it to connect to?.

    Yes you can reset the manager code from within the engineers menus, also from engineers you can turn off line fault monitoring, but at this time of night the exact processes elude me, I'll have a further gander during normal waking hours . That is unless others are more awake than I.

    The usb com is just a data connection to the panel, no need to do anything apart from plug it in. If I did what you suggest every time I worked on a system.....well I'd never get any work done, lol.
