    Its hard to explain, when the beam is broken it sends a signal to a relay in the garage, (all powered by the alarm ) the relay then sends a signal via the alarm panel to a sounder in the house ( which has now stopped working) Also the relay brings on a bell and light in the garden via a timer...

    Wireless bell will be in house, probably mains powered, the trigger is an existing 12 volt relay controlled by a clean contact in turn triggered by the infra red beam, this is basically the current set up but connected via the alarm panel

    I was parked at Tesco eating a sandwich, I observed an old lady pull into a space, fairly well positioned, she then took five minutes to manoeuvre and succeeded getting a wheel in each of the four spaces, must be the holy grail of bad parking
