    Locks for wooden garage door.

if actual security is your main point rather than just visual clues dont forget without at least one non tamper screw or bolt at each half off every hinge any door can be easily part opened or removed with a posi2 screwdriver in seconds although a way round this is say metal rods/headless screws...

    Locks for wooden garage door.

not secure in a "stopping you getting to a 10k car" way is different to a 1k sheds worth way your doing the right thing by reducing the visible protection to the minimum suggesting nothing off value inside as there doesnt seem to be any timber where the doors overlap to support that edge try...

Perhaps an old up and over garage door mechanism could be adapted as it has a main lock and 2 shoot bolts that can be rotated 90 degrees??

    Locks for wooden garage door.

the problem you have is you cant fit a highly accurate +/- 2mm locking system with 12mm bolts to a wooden door that needs +/-8mm and 20+bolts to accommodate the expansion needs

Milwaukee C12HZ-0 M12 Naked Compact Hackzall

keep in mind the blade dependant on length can protrude say 60-80mm beyond what your cutting as its reciprocal [back and forth]like a hand saw action so you need the space to cut any slack can in what your cutting can turn into more effort into vibrating the material than cutting effort even...

    Long screws - recommendation

often iff you want just a few long screws for around £5-10 just get frame fixings and discard the plug but keep in mind the un-threaded section can be most off the length https://www.screwfix.com/p/easyfix-tx-long-expansion-frame-fixings-10mm-x-200mm-12-pack/602yy

Who thinks Labour are doing well?

i originally thought this would be a pointless thread as no reasonable too and fro with reasonable points on both sides being offered and in general i was surprized at the fairly mature adult levels off perception until ivors blinkers stopped him registering "any" positives :giggle:;)

    Dining table repair

whilst in normal situations this is the best and correct answer in my opinion this is solid steam bent timber on the edge so not only no veneer to be harvested you also have a compound curve where the grain will be compressed as at an angle also a straight grain across a curve so nothing can be...

    Dining table repair

general comments as its a curve you will never get any better than "ouch" you can iff you can get a bit off stained similar grained [perhaps oak or iroko ] toned a tiny bit darker making it less obvious than the light oak centre but no better than that without an expert with "graining " ability...
