Hi, Ive just built a garage/workshop but have hit a bit of a wall in regards to locks and door security. Ive spent more time than I want to admit looking for what I'm after but I just can't seem to find it. one door will only be opened from the inside with bolts going into the floor and frame. I want some way of locking the other door and something with high security. I am thinking of some sort of multi point lock that can lock into the frame and floor and latch with the other door. Ideally I want a handle or knob in the middle with 1 key that can lock the bolts. I want it to fix through the tongue and groove and the bracing for security which is about 48mm. Ive got a 25mm batten round the door frame for the doors to close against so will need to go through this into the frame. Any help or options are greatly appreciated!!
Options I've come across:
- Panic hardware. This seems to tick most boxes except the bolts that go up and down only have about 10-15mm travel so wouldn't go into the frame far enough.
- Long throw gate lock. would require 2 per door having a lock high and low which is a bit annoying.
- Pacri Lock. Same as above but limited to 38mm door thickness.
- Espagnolette lock. seems like a good option but can't find much detail on if they would fit my doors and security.
