Lots of second hand external doors around.Cheap option is pallet timber ledger and braced door. This is external door made with osb clad with pallet timber .Around 24mm thick.

I use decking oil on all timber in the garden , sometimes thinned to spray it .

Without extraction the grease just circulates around the kitchen building up on surfaces .

It will fix the problems, springs in 25 year old hinges will have failed many years ago .

Frame fixings have little pullout strength , just use long wall plugs .

Change the hinges .

Purchased mine online ,£35 a sheet . You can get some at 2.6m for higher ceilings . The only fixings in my shower is the metal upright holding the glass so fixings are not a problem .I used on three walls .The corner and shower base trims should be bought from same supplier .
