    Microwave pat test fail

The domestic repair compant should have PAT tested during examination so I can't see why someone else should fail it or what he/she means by low resistance. If they say it's not faulty then ask whoever failed it why. If the socket you have it plugged into is suitably protected and it's working ok...

    bathroom cabinet with demister

Did you register the product when first purchased in order to get the 10 year warranty. If you did then did it specifically say there was only 12 months on the door. If not then they need to replace the complete cabinet.

    bathroom cabinet with demister

You can buy separate demister panels of a similar size to the one on your cabinet. You would need to ascertain it is suitable before you bought it though...

arco drain needed and the quotes are in ....(can I do it myself?)

You still haven't said what the problem is and what you hope to achive by having a drainage channel installed. At a guess I would suspect that you have water collecting by the french doors into the conservatory or the dwarf wall retaining the lawn. You appear to have a soakaway running around it...

Sandstone as backfill and concrete mix.

Do mean a base for the over site. It's still going to be a hell of a job with a crusher, but I've never seen one that you can hire so don't know what sort of capacity they have. I think you will need to fill hollow blocks with concrete rather than loosefill and I think you would need to do that...

arco drain needed and the quotes are in ....(can I do it myself?)

Which door in which pic are you referring to and I can't see any manhole. You appear to already have a channel drain at the bottom of the pinkish render. Where is that draining to? Are the chippings just a soak away and if so how deep do day go?

Steps to French doors reach DPC

I don't think the steps and DPC are a problem looks more like you are getting water into the cavity if anywhere. May just be condensation

Sandstone as backfill and concrete mix.

My thoughts would be that it would be an awful lot of work to crush it. Could you not just put it in as loose fill then pour quarry waste or similar in to fill up the air gaps. I don't think Yorkstone would be as absorbent as red sandstone.

    soldering AAA batteries

You would normally use a spot welder not a soldering iron as the heat is applied quickly with a welder and as you say an iron can damage the batteries.
