    Perhaps I explained it badly In another house I had with an RCD protecting the fuses, every time bulb failed, the lighting breaker tripped and likewise the RCD So I individually protected the 3 circuits with rcbo and just rely on the 6a breaker for the lighting Then if 1 lighting circuit trips...

    Thanks again There isn’t a RCD on the fuseboard. There are RCBO on the ring main, cooker and an outside garden socket Didn’t fit anything on lighting circuits as I get fed up of nuisance trips when a bulb fails

    hi Are there any guides for arranging positions of recessed ceiling lights. My living room ceiling is approx 4.5 x 3.5m x 2.4m high I’m thinking of putting in 2 rows of 4. But I’m not sure if there any required max/min dimensions between the fittings or side walls Cheers

    Can I butt in please? I was told by the man in the tile shop that I could grout the corner over the bath/shower position as I was going to be using a flexible grout. If I felt I needed to I could run a bead of clear grout over the top when grout had set Now I’m confused. Please advise Thanks
