Thank you so much @Diver Fred , that looks like the exact one I need.
My next question, sorry! I don’t have a telephone in the house and it looks like that’s a telephone extension cable, will that affect my internet connection?
Many thanks
Through your advice, the reason that extra cable is there is because there is no socket to plug the hub in to near the open reach socket so the previous owner used it as an extension.
Any idea what this cable is called so I can buy one, as it’s broken?
These are the two ends to it
Hi all.
I’m looking to replace the wiring connecting from my internet inlet box (not sure what it’s called - pic1), with this larger connection point on the other end of the wiring?
Would someone please advise me where I could pick this up please, and what it’s called?
Thanks
Hi all
I have a new TV bracket to replace the one currently on the back of my TV. I am having trouble removing the old bracket attachment, for some reason it is connected with what look like pins instead of crews? (See pictures)
Does anyone have any advice on removing these?
Many thanks
Hi all
I am fitting some herringbone laminate through a couple of rooms of different shapes and sizes (see artistic pic attached)
Where would I start in terms of creating the triangles? Should I treat each room separately, or align the arrows to flow through the rooms?
Many thanks
Great thanks guys. Can I ask, would you have any idea as to the distance the lines should be down the wall and across the ceiling for a 90mm coving?
I was definitely given the wrong info from wickes!!
Hi all
I am looking to connect an Ethernet call me from my WiFi extender in to a tv box. I bought the RJ45 Ethernet cable, which fits fine in to the WiFi extender, but won’t fit in to the tv box.
Can anyone advise which Ethernet I need for this please? It seems that the port is a lot smaller...
The pencil lines are incorrect. I bought 90mm coving and was given false information. On the fitting sheet it told me to mark a line 83mm across the ceiling, and 83mm down the wall, which meant to coving was nowhere near each mark!
The narrow lines, I made the coving square with the wall and...
Hi all
I’m currently attempting to fit my coving using the 90mm coving tool from Wickes. Following the instructions, i’ve put the first internal corner up and they aren’t butting up to each other
Any ideas why it isn’t sitting correctly?
Many thanks
Ah okay, what would you think these pipes are? I imagine they are water pipes for the radiators
Do they need to be protected above, as the concrete was directly on top of the pipework?
I’m using a self level compound that covers up to 40mm in depth, so will this be okay to self level as it is...
