I might be inclined to use a bit of timber underneath, fixed at the front with an angle bracket and fixed at the back with either a couple of screws into the end grain. Or you could use an angle there too. Or you could fix screws in through the top if you don't care about seeing the screw heads...

Does your lawnmower not have an air filter?

You don't seem to have front door anymore. Is it from the new entrance hall? Your plans don't show it properly.

I don't see why, no different to painting treated cladding.

Or treat the cladding with a suitable fire retardant coating, though they need regular updating and BC have a tendency to resist such things, for obvious reasons. Or use Marley weatherboard cladding instead of timber. Your 'architect' should have thought of this already.

You can use Jablite Fillmaster of a suitable density if all you want is to fill a void, though it does act as insulation, assuming you can buy it in small quantities.
