    The wall thermostat has always been faulty for the last 18 months and since i moved in. The boiler was always on, the burner would boost on and off and the boiler was always on, never on standby.

    hey guys thanks very much for the reply. The toilet does flush with a medium effort but as you say its still a bit slow. Is the diaphragm easy to replace? I have a wooden spoon to use in future when i do another large pooh. I will put the wipes in a bin in future too. :)

    Hi mate thanks for your reply. The cistern empties when i flush, there seems to be a problem with it flushing and it often needs a sharp fast push for it to work. I have poured the 2 bottles of bleach i have and if this does not work i might need to buy a rod and plunger as suggested. ;)
