HRM Wallstar - Plumber fitted wrong nozzle, should I be concerned?

OK thanks v much - The manual gives specs for three different sizes of HRM - small, middle and large. Curiously for the small & large models it specifies 80deg but for mine, the middle one, it specifies 60deg. Again cheers for the above - has put my mind at rest a bit. Tom

HRM Wallstar - Plumber fitted wrong nozzle, should I be concerned?

Hi all, Not drastically urgent but I had a new heating engineer come and serviced my HRM Wallstar today. All fine except he only had an 80deg nozzle in the van and the manual says it should be 60deg. The previous two nozzles have both been 60deg. He said it wouldn't make any difference and...

First time doing a garage floor (to be driven on)

OK I've done quite a bit of tiling in kitchen and bathrooms. But I'm finding that however neatly I prep & paint my garage floor, it never lasts long before I spill some brake fluid on it or something. I've got a week off coming up so thinking of tiling it. But I have a few questions.... This...

    Moving a Spur...

Hi all, I'm replacing our kitchen. Just a minor electrical question since I was about to crack on and do something before I stopped and had a rare, sensible, moment and thought I'd better ask about this one before I do something silly. Anyway - simple situation. The old cooker hood/fan was...

How close to the old extractor fan hole can I drill a new one?

Hi all :) Just fitting a new kitchen for the wife. The location of the cooker hood is about 12" from the location of the old hood, meaning that the hole through the external (cavity) wall isn't in the right place any more. Not wishing to make a mess trying to drill it out with loads of tiny...

    Relocating an electric oven...

Hello all :) I'm DIY replacing our entire kitchen - This will be the 4th time I've done a kitchen on my own so I'm confident with most of it. However, this time is the first time that I'm actually moving the location of the oven. Until now I've just used the existing electrical infrastructure...

HRM Wall Star - Has packed up mysteriously...

Hi again all, I've deliberately resurrected this thread as my boiler woes have returned. For the last few weeks the Wallstar has been locking out - usually overnight. I was naughty and fiddled a bit with the air & oil pressure settings, (yes, without an analyser). Anyway, even after tweaking...

HRM Wall Star - Has packed up mysteriously...

Ok cheers ill try and get one in town today and a new nozzle while im at it. P.s- could this be caused by a central heating prob inside the house? ....i.e a blocked pipe, or inefective pump for example?

HRM Wall Star - Has packed up mysteriously...

When its running, there is a single air bubble sitting at te high point in the line no stream of bubbles, I think the feed from the tank is good.

HRM Wall Star - Has packed up mysteriously...

Arrgh! The boiler just ran for about 15 mins then gave up again. I just whipped out the photosensor and gave it a wipe, put it backand and pressed the button on the Satronic Control box and it fired up again. This has happened twice now....how can I figure out what is causing it to shut...
