Maybe a silly question but - Does my board have an RCA Breaker..

Nor do I. I'm starting to think he either doesn't know what he's talking about OR he keeps making the same typo.

Maybe a silly question but - Does my board have an RCA Breaker..

His exact message is "Could you confirm your board has an RCA Breaker? If so we won't need an RCD outlet" He's also called it RCA in a previous message.

Maybe a silly question but - Does my board have an RCA Breaker..

Ty! Hope you don't mind me asking but are they the same thing? We're having outside plugs fitted and he's said If our board has an RCA Breaker we won't need outside plugs with it fitted. Other wise we'd need RCD fitted plugs. I tried sending the the photo but he's said it won't open for some...

Maybe a silly question but - Does my board have an RCA Breaker..

UPDATE: We've blocked the guy and run. We sent him the photo (At that point to see what he'd say) and replied back it would be £400 PER outside socket. The socket wouldn't be wired into the mains (As we requested) and would simply be a wire coming through the wall and plugging into the socket...

(Mains Gas/Mains water pipe?) Does anybody know what these pipes are and if they're worth selling?

Must admit we've come across a lot of stuff which looks nicked lol! We found a box that had "property of Somerset county council" on!

(Mains Gas/Mains water pipe?) Does anybody know what these pipes are and if they're worth selling?

Bit of an odd one. Last year we moved into the house and the owners father who lived with them had passed away suddenly. She asked if she could leave the garage as it was as she couldn't face clearing it out. We said that was fine. Most of the items in there were gas fitting related (tools...

Can I safely remove these archway corners?

Hi. Is it safe to remove these archway corners to make it fully square? I'm 99% sure it is but i just wanted to make that 1% extra sure lol They sound more hollow than the walls. Also, what is the best way to do it? Is it just hammer/chisel it out or is there a way to unscrew it etc. Sorry if...

Garden fence post hole circumference and tool question - Do I have this right?

I'm so sorry if this has been anwsered. I have looked but most questions seem to be with 5ft fence posts or have other contributing factors than mine. I am putting up 6 foot fence panels using 8ft concrete fence posts (10cmx10cm.) I currently have a normal spade and a post hole digger. From...

    Is this Asbestos? (photos)

Was worried that would be the case. So assuming it is asbestos how easy would it be to get rid of ourselves? From what I've read wrapping it in polythene, wetting down and strapping up and you can take it to your local tip for free?

    Is this Asbestos? (photos)

Hi there. We moved into a house last year and we have a outhouse. We believe it MAY have been built in 1992 but we can't be 100% sure. I don't believe it is as it doesn't 'feel' like it. The roof 'leaks' due to them coming loose. and i am planning on putting on a solid wooden roof. My only...

Has anyone tried using fence post repair kits? (Not our fence post)

Sorry, I just meant if all his panels come down our dog will be able to get out and I doubt he'd replace them himself. So if they came down we'd need to replace them ourselves/put up a whole new fence on our side.

Has anyone tried using fence post repair kits? (Not our fence post)

Bit of an odd one. We moved into our house mid last year and A few months back our fence came down in the storms. (left side of the garden). I've just dug all the posts up ready for the new ones and noticed the corner post (which belongs to our neighbor) is on it's way out. I went around and...

Washing machine has melted..can I save it?

Hi. We've had the washing machine for about 3-4 years now but today I noticed a HUGE amount of steam coming out of the draw during a 60c wash. (I am a carer for somebody and their incontinence beddinf needs to be washed at 60) I went to touch it and burnt myself. The draw cover then fell off...
