    Ahhhh okay.. so sockets on a 20a radial with 2.5mm cable can have as many spurs of a socket on 2.5mm as its rated approx 27a and the breaker will trip before the cable gets too hot?

    Just measured and I think it will be about 100mm from the block then he is putting insulation board in-between. Reason for the distance from the block is there are gas pipes along that wall ( Garage conversation )

    Yes came loose.. I've put that back in for the lights in the hall. That PIR cable is getting converted to a 1way switch for spots. And the PIR getting moved round the corner. I can leave it in a wago but it's driving me mad not knowing where it's fed from

    Thanks everyone... I like the heat shrink idea, but I've got a few maintenance free JBs here.. as long as that's fine I'll go with that. The cable is up in the ceiling so heat shrink would be a pain..
