Will try to find WBP ply locally as delivery is costs are expensive. I’m planning on tanking the walls up to the lip of the shower tray. Is it better to tank the ply too? And how would this be done?
Can anyone notice any issues with this pipework? These are hot and cold water pipes leading to a shower plate. My only concern is that after turning the water off and removing the caps, no water came out at all. Normally, I would expect at least a few drops. Any thoughts?
I’m installing a waste pipe for my shower, with the pipe running about 600mm to the center of the tray, where it will connect to the trap.
I’ve read a fall of 1 cm per every 40cm is adequate. What is the best method to ensure the correct slope has been reached for proper drainage?

What would be the best way to plaster the edge of this ceiling? The joining walls are going to be tiled. I have a bag of multi finish so could use that? Or purchase some easifill?
I’d prefer to replace the P5 but the way the joists are positioned makes it a little tricky to get the floor secure. If I cut the size of the tray I’m not sure how to secure the plywood I replace it with as there’s no joists near the dividing wall. Hopefully this makes sense.
The tray is sitting on P5. I’m thinking of laying some 12mm ply as this would be covered by the floor tiles.
Would 12mm be sufficient given that there is P5 and OSB underneath?
I was planning to attach wood where necessary for additional support, but this section has a lot of pipes, making it impossible to add any wood to drill into.
The studs are spaced 600mm apart, and the backer board I’m using is 1200 x 600 x 20mm.
Do you have any suggestions on how to securely...
My bathroom floor consists of 2 layers, OSB board and T&G chipboard. I’m laying a 1200 x 760 shower tray down on plywood but was wondering which thickness plywood I should be using?
I was thinking 18mm but may need to go thinner as I need my floor tiles to cover the plywood. Not sure if there...
I’m planning on laying tile backer board on chipboard flooring prior to tiling. Which adhesive is required to lay the backer on to?
Would something like this work...
What is the best method for tiling a bathroom chipboard floor using tile backer board?
I’m considering using 6mm backer board, but I’m unsure whether screws alone are sufficient for securing it, or if adhesive is also necessary. Any advice?
How can I position my shower tray waste in the center, where the hot and cold pipes are currently located? Would it be possible to place the waste pipe and trap above the hot/cold pipes, or would it be better to re-route the pipes instead?
