    Treating soft wood cladding when building a shed

    Hi all I want to replace a load of panelling on my old shed. I've found some shiplap to match what's there but it's softwood and untreated. What's the best stuff to use to give it a good 10 years of life outside in the wet? Can I use creosote? Or is there something more suitable? Olly

    water treatment for wet wood

    Hi chaps. I have some supports in the shed that I've removed that are rotten. However some others are just wet. Is there some treatment I can use to help force the water out and prevent them from rotting without me needing to fully remove them? Olly
