Boiler manufacturers often have the valve at the bottom. It's normal for a little water to collect in the vessel on the air side but more than 1/2 a cup and you'd assume the diaphragm is perforated.

Pipes are sealed on the inside to a leak can vent to the outside but gas meter boxes are a much higher risk (far more chance of leaks from the meter & connections) so the spigot in the box is sealed...

The high efficiency Grundfos UPS2 head will fit directly onto an old Grundfos back casing (provided it's not corroded etc).

Note the pipework MUST be Polypropylene and use PP push fit fittings for their high temperature resistance. All work to be done by a G3 qualified installer.

Easy fault...find someone else that knows how to repair boilers.

The gas pipework's fine...the collar and sleeve has been fitted to the box to take the pipe through the cavity and the pipe is correctly sealed with a flexible putty...normally FJC.

Gas wise what's important is the correct sealing/sleeving at the pipe exit from the box through the cavity. We need another picture @Wilseus

Don't touch any valves relating to the heating system...there's always a chance they'll leak. If the heating system pressure is say 1 bar cold or thereabouts it is fine Try isolating the cold main coming into the property (under the sink maybe?) and at the cylinder cold inlet to the pressure...

That relay requires you to energise the coil by switching the Neutral...prob. not what you want.
