3 port valve right way round ( photo in thread)

I had a boilor break down. 3 port got changed then got banging in pipes mainly above pump. T is not blocked. I got this changed. All radiators heating up hot and bled. Thermostat got changed. Pump lowered down. I can only think the new 3 ports shuts faster than old one causing back hammer ...

    Sentinel x 400

I put some Sentinel x400 in a system. I am hoping to go away. If I do not get it out before I go as in a rush. I would have to get it drained and flushed when back. This could mean it has been left in for 5 1/2 weeks. Could I incur any problems by leaving in for such a short period longer than...

It's a ideal isar. I do not mean the outer case of the boilor. I mean the horizontal piece of kitchen cupboard.

    Identifying flow and return

Can take top piece of cabinet out to more easily install magna. Then put new top piece in as the piece is water damaged anyway of previous leaking drain off. This way if the partial block I have is on return which I suspect it is the magnaclense should catch it before going in boilor.

Suspected blocked feed t on heat only system

The feed isc15mm from f .n e. Yes thete a separate 22 mm vent pipe over f n e.. Yes check copper t as much as could. It seems OK . I'm.going bang some sentinel x400 in. Can this go in and just run on hot water as the heating not on everyday.? Thanks

Suspected blocked feed t on heat only system

When engineer fitted 3 port he told me the heat or hot water never worked. He never got in loft to bung tank so likely dropped the f n e pulling in air. He then backfilled the system from the drain off in picture. The banging was there prior. Do you think its possible sludge has been pushed out...

Suspected blocked feed t on heat only system

Yes only since 3 port was changed.. It does appear to be hw problem I think. If it is blocked coil or restricted on return from cylinder this sounds very problematic. Can chemical clean it ?

Suspected blocked feed t on heat only system

So I went today. Cleaned f n e out. Changed gate valve to a new ball vall. Replaced t and wet vax pipes. Water dropping from f n e no problem. The t was not that much blocked ( picture attached ). Upon turning hot water/ heating on the feed pipe got hot again but there no block. What else...

    Identifying flow and return

If I already have a spiro at boilor ( can hardly service its that tight) . This magna is mainly to dose and fit Magnaclense is it OK on flow ? Or would it just be batter dosing chemical from radiator and connecting magnaclense to radiator. ( although not as easy as to filter )
