    Will final finish be tiles or shower panels? With either I'd recommend a backer board system, waterproof & inert, with joints taped and tanking applied. Plasterboard will cause issues down the line.

    Yes, you need isolating valves on the inlet and outlet of macerators i believe, to allow for servicing and maintenance. Some makes dont honour warranty unless they are fitted. 32mm solvent weld ball valve would be what you need, or a compression alternative
