Shower head holder / rail fell off wall. How to reattach

There should be a flip off cap on the narrower end of the boss. If you can remove that there will probably be a screw head underneath it. You will need to remove the old rusty bits and refit with a new screw. Use stainless or brass screw. Also drill or file a slot to act as small drain hole in...

    Tile on door frame

Perhaps it would be ok if you nailed your edge/corner trim to the frame. I think you might struggle on the LHS though.

Kitchen sink waste merge two bowl wastes

Might be worth trying disconnecting W.D from the sink waste and reconnecting where it goes through the wall.

    NHS app

Have you tried using Patient Access. You can have that at the same time as the NHS App and it covers most of the same things. Not sure if you have to register it at your surgery or not as I can't remember how I set it up on my laptop.. Have the App on the phone aswell

    Circuit Breaker Query

Do you mean in an emergency that you had to do on a Sunday afternoon or urgently that you did ASAP. A big difference in my opinion.

    Circuit Breaker Query

I don't think any of those would be done on an emergency basis on a Sunday affternoon. There would be lots of other things to sort out first.

Stubborn floor tiles - can't remove! Help

Perhaps you could cut a couple of tiles into strips with an angle grinder the use your SDS to lift them. Messy job though, so empty the room then seal door with masking tape before you start

    Circuit Breaker Query

Plan ahead for what? Never heard of a consumer unit needing replacing in an emergency.

    Sliding door Spindle issue

Has the spindle worn or the hole it goes through in the latch. If it's the former then obviously use a different spindle. If it's the latter then try turning it with a flat bladed screwdriver that you can jam in the hole.

    Patio drainage

Really? There seems to be an awful lot of people running patios into existing internal floors at the same level. It seems fraught with potential problems but it seems to be the fashion at the moment.

    Patio drainage

I didn't think you would need one if you kept the patio at the current level. If you do raise it and fit an Aco you would need to drop it down through the step and join into the gully underground.

    Patio drainage

Looking at the existing brick courses under the door it doesn't look like you have a problem with water pooling by the door, no green algae forming. So if you keep the same levels and fall away from the door I wouldn't think you will need a gully fitting. Having said that I don't know if that...

    Crack in wall

Obviously no one can advise properly from the one pic. you have posted, but it doesn't sound like it is a major problem. Your internal cracks just sound like they need filling when you next decorate. There is need no need to worry about them at this stage they are just part of the general...

    Crack in wall

Do you mean a short crack in the joint one course up above the new bricks and the crack from the window. If so then I would think it is nothing to worry about. It probably had a catnic lintel or similar fitted when the doors were done and and has just settled a little. Perhaps the opening was...
