How to prevent cracks and keep coving on

@opps Easyfill has quoted it's ok to use. I think I read on bags or data sheet. I only ever used if I was on a good surface like a newly skimmed surface and if I needed to use it as run out of gyproc. Especially around covid with limited supplies. I only used it a handful of times over the...

    Hooray for Bitcoin

Nope. I dump money in a ETF or pension. I don't see the value in crypto. It's not got any use for everyday people. I don't know anyone that's used crypto but I know plenty that's bought and sold it.

I've tried what you proposed and it didn't work? I've got on my long list a project to get my internal house wiring back live again as our phone is in a cupboard with the WiFi router. I'm going to try this way although mine is easier as all in a hall cupboard. If you get it going can you...

How to prevent cracks and keep coving on

The best adhesive is gyproc cove adhesive. It's a powder and it's brilliant. I always sealed the wall and ceiling surfaces prior to fitting coving. If you think the painted surface could come away scratch and scoop some off back to a good sound surface prior to sealing. As for sealing...

    Which Emulsion

Any durable will have a higher sheen than a flat matt. The colour pigment is inside the paint resins so when you rub against the paint you don't scratch or crush the paint pigment. The resins act as a hard layer but will reflect more light. I like valspar premium matt. I get on with that the...

How many vent tiles to ensure loft temperature is same as upstairs room temp during a heatwave? Or even better lower?

I've plastered and painted upstairs ceilings in heat waves and had problems because the plasterboard ceilings are hot. A lack of insulation is the cause.. Heat travels to cold so you need to try and keep it out with insulation. Open things up early morning and later evening to cool the...
