When I dug it up it was a 15mm copper pipe. Nothing protecting it and about 6" deep!! Done a temp repair. Found the internal stop cock and will get someone in with a mole and replace with MDPE if it leaks again. Looks like they botched it when building the small kitchen extension. Cheers

How do I know the McAlpine waste overflow hole fits the bath listed? I have read with a decent bath and one of the best McAlpine wastes/overflows silicone is not needed. But in every video they ditch the thin white foam 'seal' and use silicone?? Cheers mate.
